Choosing a martial arts school is personal. The best way to see if MCBJJ is right for you is to experience the coaching and atmosphere in person.
We offer programs for adult beginners, advanced students, kids ages 4–13, No-Gi grapplers and women who prefer a dedicated class. All regular programs listed on this site train at our Carson location.

We help plan your visit
A team member can confirm the appropriate class time and answer questions about what to wear. The online form is a request, not an automatic class reservation.

Meet us on the mats
Come to our Carson academy, meet the team, and get a feel for the teaching style. You can decide whether you want to continue after experiencing a class.

Do I need experience to try Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
No. MCBJJ has an adult beginner program that starts with the fundamentals. Tell us that you're new when you request your first class.
Can I request a free trial for my child?
Yes. The kids program is for ages 4 through 13. Choose Kids BJJ on the form so the team knows whom you are booking for.
What should I wear to my first class?
Comfortable workout clothes are a good starting point for your visit. Ask the academy whether a gi or any specific equipment is needed for the class you attend.
Is the free trial held in Torrance, Gardena or Long Beach?
The trial takes place at the MCBJJ academy in Carson, not at separate locations in nearby cities. Students from the wider South Bay are welcome to request a class.
